CHEMICAL PEELS
Although we use the term chemical peels, the peels are based on acids available from plant sources.
The skin is our largest dynamic organ. Skin cells continue to generate and as they do, they migrate to the surface of our skin and slough off (exfoliation). We lose skin cells every day. Unfortunately as we age, some of our cells do not slough off as efficiently and therefore we have rough patches, uneven skin tone, clogging of pores, and generally dull skin.
Chemical peels help to loosen these dead cells in a more accelerated fashion revealing the “new” smoother and brighter skin underneath. This treatment has been shown to create epidermis thickening, even out skin tone, and help decongest sebaceous glands.
There are many combinations of “acids” that can be used to resurface the skin. The decision to use a particular chemical is based on a person’s skin type, their problem, their medical status, and their schedule in terms of acceptable downtime. This is determined at the time of the complimentary consultation.
After any type of chemical peel, sun protection is very important and we recommend using an SPF 30 or higher on a daily basis with reapplication.

Botox Cosmetic® product is a protein which temporarily inhibits messages to specific muscles and the brain from communicating. Botox Cosmetic® treatment is typically used from the eyes up to forehead. It can be used on the lower face but in smaller amounts and often times in conjunction which a filler.
Botox Cosmetic® product is an injection which typically lasts from about 3-5 months. Immediately after injection, one will have to create a “scrunch” face to activate the Botox Cosmetic® treatment quicker.
